The Acrobatics at Beijing are not to be missed. They are put on each night and last for about one and half hours. The Beijing Acrobatic Troupe is one of the best in China. An acrobatic show has become one of the most popular evening entertainments for tourists in Beijing. You can enjoy gravity-defying contortionism, juggling, unicycling, chair-stacking, and plate-spinning acts and more.
Since its transformation into a professional tourism performance venue in 2004, Beijing Red Theatre has built over 20 years of history. It was once widely known for its long-running resident stage show The Legend of Kung Fu. The theatre has now undergone a full renovation and repositioning. The original kung fu show is no longer performed. It has officially been transformed into a dedicated acrobatic show venue, continuing to present high-level visual spectacles for audiences. We warmly welcome both new and returning guests to experience the strength and beauty of Chinese acrobatics.

Red Theatre is situated at No.44 Xingfu Street in Dongcheng District, an area with a long-standing connection to Beijing's local cultural life. The venue originally began its history in the 1950s as the Chongwen District Workers' Cultural Palace, serving as a community center where local performances and cultural activities were regularly held. Over time, it gradually evolved, and in the early 21st century it was redefined as a professional theatre dedicated to stage productions for both domestic and international audiences. Today, Red Theatre is widely known for presenting high-energy acrobatic shows that highlight the precision, coordination, and physical artistry of Beijing performers. The shows combine traditional training with modern stage design, creating a visually striking experience that appeals to visitors from around the world. From 2004 to 2020, the theatre became famous for hosting the long-running production *Legend of Kung Fu*, which was performed for more than 7,000 shows and became one of Beijing's most recognizable stage productions. In recent years, Red Theatre has entered a new phase, focusing on acrobatic shows while continuing to improve stage production quality and audience experience. Today, it runs daily shows and remains a popular evening destination for visitors looking to enjoy live Chinese performing arts in central Beijing.
